In a gesture of support, S Singh, the hospital in-charge and a fan of Kambli, has decided to provide the cricketer with lifelong free treatment at the medical facility.
Kambli was brought to the hospital by one of his fans, who also owns the hospital.
Kambli has faced several health challenges in recent years. In 2013, he underwent two heart surgeries with financial assistance from his long-time friend and cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar.

Despite his health issues, Kambli made a public appearance earlier this month at an event in Mumbai, where he unveiled a memorial for legendary cricket coach Ramakant Achrekar at Shivaji Park.
However, his health appeared to be in a weakened state during the event, sparking concern among fans and fellow cricketers.

Kambli spoke about his health struggles, highlighting a urinary issue that resulted in his hospitalization a month earlier.
“I was suffering from a urine problem. It was just flowing. My son, Jesus Cristiano, picked me up and brought me back to my feet.” he said.
He added, “My daughter, who is 10 years old, and my wife came to help me. This happened one month ago. My head started spinning; I collapsed and fell down. The doctor told me to get admitted,”
He described the incident, explaining how his family helped him during the episode. Kambli recalled feeling dizzy and collapsing, which led to medical advice for hospitalization.
