MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA: Set to be one of the most anticipated releases of 2024, Sikandar promised to deliver a high-octane action thriller, marking the first collaboration between Murugadoss and Salman Khan.
Industry insiders revealed that the film would focus on a gripping narrative, prioritizing substance over style, in line with Murugadoss’s philosophy.
On December 26, a day before his birthday, Salman shared the first look of Sikandar, sending fans into a frenzy.

When will Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ release?
Salman’s much-awaited film Sikandar is set to hit theaters on Eid 2025, which falls on June 6, 2025.
The ‘Tiger’ actor also announced that the official teaser of the movie will release on his birthday, December 27.
Salman posted the first poster of Sikandar on Instagram and wrote, “See u again kal subah theek 11.07 baje… SikandarTeaserTomorrow #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss Releasing in cinemas EID 2025”
According to Times Now, earlier a source had revealed, “The 80-second teaser of Sikandar, starring Salman Khan, is nothing short of a blockbuster in the making. Fans are ecstatic to witness the megastar return to the big screen.”
The source added, “With its powerful visuals and larger-than-life aura, this teaser is already being hailed as one of the most anticipated glimpses of the year. Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have once again raised the bar for cinematic excellence!”
‘Sikandar‘ featured an impressive supporting cast, with Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi playing key roles.
Rashmika Mandanna starred as the female lead. A source close to the project told Pinkvilla that Sajid Nadiadwala had sought a new pairing, and Rashmika was the perfect choice for the script.
