Junaid Khan’s timeless view on love
In his candid conversation, he revealed that he prefers traditional views on relationships, sharing, “I’m very old school. Love is a primal emotion, a human emotion. It transcends generations, time, and culture. Now terminology is changing, but the emotions are the same.”
His perspective on love is refreshingly simple in a time when dating and relationships are often defined by new-age terms like “situationships” and “red flags.”
For Junaid, the essence of love remains unchanged, no matter how society or language evolves.
His belief is rooted in the idea that love is a universal and timeless emotion that connects people across generations.
“Now terminology is changing, terms are changing but the emotions are same,” he added, emphasizing that the core of human connection hasn’t altered through time.
Junaid Khan on his surprising role in ‘Loveyapa’
When asked how he felt about Loveyapa coming his way, Junaid admitted he was initially surprised to be considered for the role.
“Madhu (Mantena) sir had come to me and said he has the remake rights of this film. The hook of the father wanting to exchange phones, I loved it,” he revealed.
“I was a little surprised that they wanted me in the film because I thought the part was very different from me personality-wise but I was really excited about it,” he explained.
Junaid’s excitement stems from the fact that his director, Advait Chandan, known for his work on Laal Singh Chaddha, has a knack for bringing out the best in his actors.
“Advait always gets fantastic performances from his actors. Even if an actor just has 1-2 scenes in the film, he gets good performances from them,” Junaid said, crediting Chandan for helping him capture the right “sur” for his character.
