Kareena Kapoor embraces natural aging
Kareena Kapoor, who has been a prominent figure in the industry for over two decades, shared her philosophy on aging and beauty.
“I think it’s a personal choice. I mean, I enjoy a few lines here and there on my face. I think it kind of looks sexy. Somehow, I feel happier in my 40s than I was in my 20s. I just want it to take its natural course.”
She added, “I’m not old yet, so I’m still rocking,” she said, expressing a refreshingly unapologetic attitude towards the natural aging process.
The conversation took a deeper turn as the two actresses discussed the pressures that come with being in the spotlight.

Both have experienced the constant scrutiny of their physical appearance, particularly as the entertainment industry often holds actors to a youthful standard.
Gillian Anderson discusses progress for women in television
Gillian Anderson reflected on the evolving opportunities for women in television, noting that there had been significant improvement since the 1990s, when she first started her career.
However, she pointed out that cinema still has a long way to go.
“If you consider the number of women who have truly headlined films in Hollywood, the figure is still disappointingly small,” Anderson remarked.

She also discussed the struggles actors face with their appearance, whether they opt for cosmetic procedures to maintain their youth or choose to embrace their natural aging. Anderson explained, “It’s much kinder than it used to be, but the struggle remains.”
Both actresses are currently working on exciting projects. Kareena Kapoor was recently seen in the successful film ‘Singham Again,’ directed by Rohit Shetty, which also starred Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff, among others.
She is now gearing up for Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming untitled project. Meanwhile, Gillian Anderson is preparing for her role in the upcoming OTT series ‘The Abandons,’ an American Western action drama set in the 1850s.
