CHANDIGARH: In a recent turn of events, Diljit Dosanjh has hit back at AP Dhillon following the latter’s claim that the singer had blocked him on social media.

The dispute began when Diljit gave a shout-out to AP Dhillon and Karan Aujla during his Indore concert, wishing them luck on their tours.

However, during his own concert in Chandigarh, on Saturday, December 21, AP Dhillon took the opportunity to address the issue, directly calling out Diljit.

Diljit Dosanjh clears the air after AP Dhillon’s claim

During his show, AP Dhillon told the crowd in Punjabi, “I just want t say one small thing, brother. First unblock me on Instagram and then talk to me.”

He added, “I don’t want to talk about what marketing is happening but first unblock me. I’ve been working for three years. Have you ever seen me in any controversy?”

In response, Diljit Dosanjh took to Instagram to address the claim. Sharing a screenshot of AP Dhillon’s Instagram profile, Diljit implied that AP Dhillon was never blocked, as his posts were visible.

He wrote, “I never blocked you. Mere pange sarkaaran naal ho sakde aa… kalaakaran naal ni,” suggesting that his conflicts were not with fellow musicians like AP Dhillon.

During his Indore concert, Diljit spoke about Karan Aujla and AP Dhillon, saying, “Mere aur do bhaiyon ne tour shuru kiya hai Karan Aujla aur AP Dhillon nein, unke liye bhi best of luck.”

He went on to say, “Yeh independent music ka time shuru hai. Musibate toh ayengi. Jab koi revolution aata hai toh musibat aati hai. Hum apna kam karte jayenge .”

Diljit’s ‘Dil-Luminati India Tour’ continues, AP Dhillon wraps up ‘The Brownprint Tour’

According to Hindustan Times, Diljit is currently touring India with his ‘Dil-Luminati India Tour’, which began on October 26 in New Delhi and is set to wrap up on December 29 in Guwahati. His most recent performance was in Mumbai on December 19.

Meanwhile, AP Dhillon completed his ‘The Brownprint Tour’ in New Delhi and Mumbai before wrapping it up in Chandigarh on December 21. This marks his second tour in India, following his debut tour in 2021.
